| Richmond Friends of Recreation and Save the Richmond Plunge Trust need your tax-deductible donations and charitable gifts. These donations are essential in funding our efforts to keep this important project at the forefront of peoples thoughts. Our charter specifies that all funds raised will go toward the bricks and mortar rehabilitation of the Plunge and for costs associated with fund and awareness raising. All the board officers are volunteers as well as the position of Executive Director. Additionally you can support our efforts by purchasing Plunge gear. If you wish to send in a donation or gift, please print out, fill in, and mail along a Donor/Sponsor Form. |

By increasing the amount each person can own before estate tax kicks in, the IRS has increased the value of charitable giving. Before the changes, most people thought it was more valuable to save their charitable gifts until death when the death taxes started at 37% for an estate of $675,000. Currently, the exemption is $1 million, most people will escape death taxes entirely. So don't wait until "the end" to give to charity. You'll miss any tax benefit. Do it now and reap the benefits of income tax reduction.
