Teaching counting to your preschoolers? The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle is a fantastic book to teach numbers and counting to your pre-k or kindergarten class.
This free set includes two different worksheets that you can choose from. You children get to practice to read from graph and compare the results such as finding out which food the caterpillar ate the most or the least, how many, etc.
Pick a picture of a food item and ask the children to find items from the same food group that are bigger or smaller than the chosen picture (e.g. can you find a bigger/ smaller apple?)
Between the ages of 3 and 6 years, your child is capable of learning and absorbing more information than you can imagine. Advance his training with the use of preschool worksheets. These are very powerful tools to stimulate your child’s brain.
In choosing a worksheet, it is important to review the source and check the material. Ensure that the material and answers are accurate. Evaluate the worksheet by completing it yourself. The worksheet should provide information clearly and accurately. Make sure it is exactly what you need to homeschool your child.
From each food item pick out two pictures of different sizes (big and small). Let the children sort all the food items into two groups: small and big.
